St Mary’s Cathedral Choir could not continue to exist without the generosity of donors like you. Through the donations it receives you will
- Support the Choristers and Cathedral Scholars, ensuring the development of highly skilled Australian musicians.
- Assist with the ongoing performance of liturgical music, such at Mass or at much-loved events like Christmas at the Cathedral.
- Protect a cultural heritage which spans more than 500 years, connecting our community to God's in a unique way.
- Commission new works of choral music from contemporary composers, thus ensuring that we can contribute to the repertoire of choirs of generations to come.
- Help the musicians of the Choir to engage with communities outside the reach of St Mary’s Cathedral through tours, master classes, and training sessions.

Completed Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross are a striking reminder of the passion and death of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice to redeem the world.
In 2020 and 2021 there was a significant effort to bring these stations back to life. It was a laborious process, but through your support the conservation team, based in Alexandria, carefully and masterfully restored these Stations of the Cross. From deploying scissor lifts to bring down the stations, to inspecting, re-painting and repairing damage, there is significant work involved.
All fourteen Stations were successfully sponsored. We thank you sincerely for your generosity in restoring these Stations and preserving these spiritual masterpieces.
